We will be adding some of our favorite meditations and prayers to help you connect with your inner divine spirit.
A Prayer That Can Be Used for Any Need
Take a moment and relax. Feel yourself being supported by the chair. Notice the pressure and weight of your body on the seat of the chair and trust that you will be supported. Close your eyes. Breathe deeply, in and out and with each breath, breath in the Christ Spirit and breath out any negative or restricting thoughts.
With each outward breath release all anxiety, all fear, all worries, and all expectations. Release any hard feelings you have for others and release any hard feelings you hold for yourself.
As you breathe and relax, be aware of the power greater than you that co-creates your life. Know that God has a plan for you and will always lead you to your greatest good and he is with you now.
Let your prayer enter your mind. As your prayer takes form and substance say it out loud; describe your needs as specifically as you can and know that before your have asked God has answered. Focus on the prayer complete and the need filled.
As you sit in this sacred prayer space, know that God’s love is ever-present and all powerful. See God’s love filling your being and surrounding your request with a beautiful light and energy. Feel the energy in your body becoming even more positive, more powerful. It is this energy and faith that moves the mountains, answers all prayers, and resolves all conflicts.
Find that space in your heart that holds the Christ Sprit and watch that spirit shine and spread throughout your body. Feel the Spirit as it reaches out to all other beings, past present and future, and makes that cosmic connection. Know that you are connected to and through the Christ Spirit and God. Feel the peace and calm that pours over you as you acknowledge this connection.
As you make this connection and begin the conversation with God, sit in the stillness and silence. Listen for that quiet voice that guides you. Acknowledge, but quiet, all other thoughts. Focus on your breathing and expand that silent space between each breath and listen. Know that as you sit silently your prayers are being answered.
Thank God, for all answered prayers. Thank Him for all the blessings received and those for which you have yet to receive. Thank Him for your healthy body, healthy mind and abundant prosperity. You are blessed and be grateful. May this prayer be a blessing, Amen.
